Academics

It is our belief that students need to be active participants in their own learning. Our focus is on developing students who are well-rounded citizens of the world.

"I have seen my students become more balanced inquirers, risk takers, and principled human beings through the IB program here. My IB students always come back after higher education and employment and share how the program paved their way towards success." ~IB Teacher

Activities

The aim of the art program is to encourage students to discover new ways of meeting intellectual and artistic challenges.

"AIS - West has offered the opportunity for creativity for my son in so many ways. The variety of activities offered as well as their nature has pushed my son to spread his wings and discover his talents in more ways than I could wish for." ~ AIS West Parent

How To Apply

Thank you for choosing American International School in Egypt for your child’s educational journey!

AIS-West accepts applications from students for enrollment from Pre-K to Grade 12. Admission to AIS is based upon the student’s completed application, previous school records, confidential school recommendations and behavior reports, work habits, standardized test scores and/or an on-site admission assessment, and seat availability. Students must be in good academic, behavioral, and attendance standing at their current school to be considered.

Assessments are not automatically granted. Priority for any grade level is given to children who already have siblings in the school or who are transferring from Esol schools.
