AIS WEST VOLLEYBALL (2021-22)

Covid 19 continued to cause delays in the start of the volleyball season here at AIS WEST. However, our young volleyball teams were able to get together for practices and a few games. The teams played the season with only a few seniors, so the future looks as if AIS - WEST will have experienced players returning for the 2022-23 season.

The girls team, led by Coaches Anders Nordquist and Edwina Nordquist were very young and are looking for improvement and success next year. The girls had very little opportunity to compete and display their improvement, but performed extremely well and were competitive in all matches. 

The boys were led by (Big) John Lawerence and Steve Guelff. The boys team was also very young and also had little opportunity to compete. However, their talent was apparent when they won the CAC tournament. AIS - WEST is looking forward to the upcoming volleyball season and expects our teams to improve, compete and find success.
